Well I'm not a subscriber so I can't give critiques... But I'll give you a comment-critique-type... thingy.

I know I'm only an amateur 17-year-old photographer, but hey, cut me some slack. Let me have some fun here.


I really enjoy this piece. First of all, I find that the use of grayscale instead of natural color in this particular type of photo brings a certain depth to the work that otherwise could not be achieved. I believe that photography, and art in general should arouse emotions in the viewer. This piece does exactly that for me. It has a kind of mystery about it... It seems to hold a meaning that the viewer must dig deep to find. Another aspect of this piece that I find enjoyable is the wonderful balance created by the focus points. This piece is blurry, and sharp in all of the appropriate places. The harmony of the tones in this work is incredible. I do look forward to seeing more of your work. You are quite an inspiration and very talented. 5 STARS!

Very artistic. Love the choice of black and white for this. Some really sharp detail here and I love the shadows that show well with the black and white. Makes me totally want to go back to Niagara Falls really soon and play some poker.
